The Inclusion Support Agency Sunshine Coast is an initiative of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program. It is funded by the Australian Government and Sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Family Link Scheme Inc.
Our Aim is to promote and maintain high quality care and inclusion for all eligible child care services, by increasing the skill level of carers and service staff.
We provide all eligible child care services with access to a range of practical supports and assistance.
Inclusion Support is FREE to eligible Australian Government Approved Child Care Services including:
- both private and community based long day care
- outside school hours care including vacation care
- occasional care
- family day care and in-home care
The Inclusion and Professional Support Program aims to build the capacity of eligible child care services to included children from the following priority groups who require additional support to access mainstream child care services:
- children with ongoing high support needs (including children with a disability)
- children from culturally and linguisically diverse backgrounds
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
- Australian South Sea Islander children with refugee status
It is recognised that some of these children will have multiple additional needs.
