Capacity Building

The Inclusion Support Program aims to build the capacity of eligible child care services to include children from the following priority groups who require additional support to access mainstream child care services:

  • children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
  • Australian South Sea Islander children
  • children with refugee status
  • children with ongoing high support needs (including children with a disability)

It is recognised that some of these children will have multiple additional needs.
