Inclusion Support Program

The Inclusion Support Program (ISP) is an integrated approach to meeting the professional and inclusion support needs of child care services. Available Funding Support
Your service may be eligible for funding to assist with the costs of inclusion by:

  • Inclusion Support
  • Bicultural Support
  • Flexible Support Funding
  • Inclusion Support Subsidy

Inclusion Support Facilitators (ISFs) develop and facilitate implementation of:

  • Assisted Inclusion Readiness Plans (AIR Plans) which support child carers so they are ready to include children with different types of needs
  • Service Support Plans (SSPs) so the child care environment can support all children
  • Bicultural support which helps children with different languages and cultures settle comfortably into child care
  • Recommend specialist equipment needed for support, such as hoists, special change tables, toilets, support swings, sensory mats
  • Inclusion Support Subsidy (ISS) identification and application assistance.
