Online Training - Critical Reflection and the Early Years Learning Framework.
This online session will define critical reflection and participants will have opportunities to consider the value of critical reflection, issues associated with it, how they use it in everyday practice, and the processes involved in critical reflection. Scenarios will be used to encourage participants to reflect critically and enhance their understandings of critical reflection and how it can be of value in everyday practice. The importance of collaborative critical reflection is discussed, and factors needed to build a reflective culture are considered. Links are made to the Early Years Learning Framework as part of the workshop.
Specific learning outcomes include:
• Participants learn how to define and use processes of critical reflection
• Participants learn about the importance of collaborative critical reflection
